Back in March, for Lee’s birthday, I bought him a spa break at a local spa in Stock. due to covid it took a few months to be able to go but it was so worth the wait. The spa is situated down a little country lane in a beautiful manor house. The decor inside is stunning and the rooms are lovely - a good size with powerful showers and Elemis products to use!
The spa was lovely, with indoor and outdoor loungers, a good sized pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room (although the sauna and steam room was close due to government guidelines). They also had a relaxation room with hot stone beds which we absolutely loved! The massages were amazing! We had a full body massage and was really impressed with the therapists! The massage bed was even heated which was something I’ve not had before - total luxury!
After our massages we went back to the room to get ready for our 3 course dinner. The food was top class, I had soft shell crab, steak and a lemon tart! I enjoyed every part of the dinner and the steak was cooked perfectly! We were also surprised to find that nothing on the main menu was supplemented! We finished our evening with some drinks in the bar and then headed to bed for the evening. The beds were reasonably comfortable (we are spoiled at home with a tempur mattress so nothing ever beats our bed) and we got a good nights sleep!
When we woke up in the morning we had breakfast included. I was surprised at how much choice you got on the menu, from continental to a fry up and even choiced such as eggs Benedict. This was our first over night spa break and it was a great experience! I would definitely recommend going here and we will be booking another spa break In the future!
