For my friend Lucy's Hen do we travelled 5 hours to Snowdonia in Wales to spend the weekend at Snowdonia Adventure Park - staying at the Hilton Garden Inn hotel.
When we arrived on the Saturday we started with our first activity - the ninja assault and slides. This was so much fun, with an indoor adults soft play adventure playground with a beat the wall climbing wall, rope play zones basically everything you could imagine you'd need to be a big kid for the day. They even had platforms where you could jump from different heights (the highest being 6.5m) into a giant airbag. We finished the course with a kicker flight slide where you fly off the end of the drop slide into a giant airbag. This was an adrenaline filled afternoon and I loved it!
We then headed back to our rooms to get ready for the evening. We hired out a tepee on the site where we had a Halloween themed hen party with a BBQ, drinks, music and games! This was such a nice thing to plan for the bride and something fun for us all to do together.
The next morning we woke up, had breakfast in the hotel and then went to the adventure zone where we took part in a bungee drop jump off the top of the building and then a zip line across the lake which was fun.
We then spend the afternoon chilling in the spa which was lovely and relaxing. The spa was really small but had a hot tub, foot spa, sauna and steam room and chairs to lounge on. We then went back to the room and got ready for dinner at the hotel.
When we woke up the next morning it was time to check out and get back on the road for our long journey home. It tool us around 5 1/2 hours to get home with a service station stop in the middle but we had such a fun weekend so the road trip was worth it!
