In March 2015 Planet Leasing took their staff to Geneva for the weekend to visit the Geneva Motor Show.

We flew from Southend Airport to Geneva with Easy jet which was a nice quick flight. Upon arrival we drove just past the boarder to Ferney Voltaire where we had a hotel booked. This was a quiet area with not too much around but we managed to find a nice Indian for the first evening and an Italian for the second evening a short walk from the hotel.

When we got to the motor show we were given VIP access in the Jaguar Land rover stand where we took full advantage of the complimentary champagne and canapés. There were a lot of vehicles and new releases to look at which was interesting to any car lover although it was extremely busy and hard to walk around at times ad you would tend to get stuck in massive crowds. I actually done a write up of the show for work which you can find here.

On the Sunday we had free time to explore Geneva. We went to Lake Geneva and took a boat trip around the lake where we saw the Jet d'Eau as well as the beautiful houses of the rich! It was good to explore and have a look around the city - although it is a very expensive place to visit.

I am glad I have seen this city, but I would not be in a rush to go back and if you was to visit here you would not need to be here a long time to see everything!
